love it, but

Pros:Functional,Works Great
Cons:Difficult to Install
Other Thoughts:Remodled 2 bathrooms. First problem was the 12" clearance we needed. It was stated in the specs - I just didn't know in older homes plumbing is usually 10". Believe I could have ordered a fitting for 10" had I known, but we moved plumbing to accomodate. Took a little getting use to pulling the flush handle all the way for proper flush action has this has longer throw than old toilet. Also, a little concerned that the installer said the toilet seat had to be installed before the toilet was installed. (that means if I wanted to replace seat would I will need to hire a plummer.) If not for that would give a great design rating as I do like the shape and "love" not seeing the pipes so commen on unskirted toilets. So much easier to clean outside without the nooks and crannies.

Other Thoughts:I purchased this toilet and the pedestal sink which is also in this design suite. I equipped it with a maple seat. Together, they have a fabulous look and have drawn great reviews whenever someone sees them for the first time. I am very very pleased with the result.

Other Thoughts:After doing some research I purchased a Toto toilet. Since I could not purchase one from my local home builder store I ordered it on line. I am very happy with my purchase. We have been using our new toilets, we purchased two, for almost a year now and have never had a problem. The flush is quick and quiet and uses less water.

Other Thoughts:I remodeled 2 bathrooms in my house last year, one with a Kohler toilet (1.4 gpf ADA) and one with a Toto Nexus toilet (1.6 gpf ADA). The Nexus toilet looks better, flushes better, has a much larger water surface area, is easier to clean, and has a better fit and finish compared to the Kohler. I really had no problems installing it either. It was more money than the Kohler, ($280.00 for the Kohler and $550.00 for the Toto) but the next comparable toilet Kohler offers to compete with the Nexus is the Hatbox toilet which runs about $2000.00. Overall it's completely worth the extra $300.00.

Product Q&A

Other Customers have asked these questions.

What are the different flushing systems? Like tithe GMAx etc.
This particular toilet has the G-Max flushing system, which uses 1.6 gallons per flush.  Toto also offers this style with a E-Max flush (which would be 1.28 GPF).  You can see that model">here.
