Tax Credits for Energy Efficient Home Upgrades!

Great news homeowners! Did you know you can receive a tax credit just for upgrading your home? That’s right, the federal government is extending a tax credit to homeowners who improve their homes with energy efficient products. Upgrades to windows and doors, roofs, and air conditioning systems are included in the credit. But we think the best way to get the most bang for your buck is to upgrade to a tankless water heater.
A Smart Move: Upgrade to a Rinnai Tankless Water Heater
As we mentioned previously in our tankless water heater buyer’s guide, tankless water heaters are both energy and water efficient. Water is only heated when needed, as opposed to tanked water heaters which constantly heat water regardless of how much is used. Tankless water heaters are also space-saving and can be installed in closets, on the garage wall, or on the side of the home.
Rinnai tankless water heaters use gas to heat water. With the low cost of both natural and propane gas, tankless water heaters are cheaper to operate than ever before. Homeowners who install Rinnai tankless heaters into their homes will receive a $300 tax credit in 2013. Some counties, cities, and states will even extend their own tax rebates on tankless water heaters!
