Bathe Your Bathroom in Blue

If you were to think of one color that describes the bathroom, chances are you’d say white. Between the porcelain of the sink, toilet, and bathtub, plus the abundance of white subway tiles used in the shower, white is a classic, obvious choice.
Today, homeowners are breaking out of the white on white bathroom mold and bringing in color! And one of the most popular colors in bathrooms today is blue. The many shades of blue can translate differently depending on the light and size of the room. Pale blues help reflect light and are a fine choice in a master bathroom while rich, midnight blues that absorb light are best suited for small powder rooms.
We’ve rounded up our favorite examples of blue being used in the bathroom. Remember, there are hundreds of ways to incorporate a color in the bathroom. Paint, accessories, and even the plumbing fixtures themselves make a difference in how one shade of blue will translate as opposed to another.
