Walled Lake, MI

Why I live in Walled Lake: I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI on Reeds Lake with my 2 brothers and 3 sisters for 18 years. I moved to Walled Lake after college and marriage. I’ve been here for the past 23 years. We fell in love with Walled Lake on first sight. It’s a humble, unpretentious little lake community. It’s beautiful throughout all four seasons.

Education: Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, Go Green!

Family: Divorced, father of my wonderful daughter Katie and Rottweiler mix Jake.

Leisure time activities: Rabid sports fan (Detroit Lions, Pistons, Red Wings, Tigers & MSU Spartans). I enjoy boating, jet skiing, camping, fires in my backyard and some water gardening. I am also an avid audiophile and dig a wide variety of music (1500 CD’s and growing plus 500 LP’s) ranging from classical to jazz to folk to country (real country like Hank, Johnny & George) to rock to some hip-hop/rap. I frequently attend concerts where I’m in the upper age bracket. I’ve also been known to enjoy a fine single malt scotch or hand crafted brew with a nice cigar at night by my pond.

Here at Supply Technology: After managing larger service industry companies through 2000, it was time for a change. Instead of training and supervising managers and employees, I wanted to “work for myself” and reapply my skills in sales. Supply Technology struck me as a well run small business that would afford me the opportunity to work one on one with my customers, providing them with the quality of service experience that I had grown accustomed to providing in my previous businesses. They care about their customers as much as I do mine. This has been a truly rewarding experience.
